January's Map of the Month was not that successful, only a few matches were played on Emyn Arnen II and less were submitted to achive the MotM bonus. However, more matches were played on Tournament Anorien and according to its popularity it will be the MotM for this month, February.
New Map of the Month: Tournament Anorien
If you win a Map of the Month game, you may AM the game as a MotM game to receive additional points for the win (no need to attach the replay). However, your opponents will not lose any points for the loss (if they are in the power win range).
If you win a MotM game against a clan in the clan power win range, you will receive double points for the game. If you win against a clan not in the clan power win range, you will receive only +50% points. The reason for this change is that the last time we did Map of the Month, the maps were used primarily when lower ranked clans were involved in the game. We want to encourage alternative map usage at every level in the league. In addition to that we usually check the AR/AM forums for reports that are confirmed already every day, simply to proceed those more quickly. If you file an AM to achive the MotM bonus there is no confirmation needed, so we can do those very quickly. The anent match should be updated within 24 hours!
I'd also like you to check the Admin's News Posts more often from now on as we are planning to use those to inform you consistently. We aware of the fact that you have to scroll down a lot, but it will be useful for you.
